Made Cleveland, a store that features all kinds of stuff made by Cleveland artists and artisans, is doing a good job of filling the gaps between Maker Markets, which get sparse in the winter (although Cleveland Bazaar is hosting its Valentine Bazaars this month.) Located in the sprawling former City Buddha space it’s also hosting special events.
One of those is it’s “Galentine’s” event. Yes, we know the name makes you groan but this one sounds good. They’re inviting folks to come down in their Valentine PJs — one of those heart-covered shirts you often find in the stores at this time of year will do too — to watch some classic romantic comedies, get creative at the make-you-own-waffles station and shop the products of a couple of local creators: Forever Golden CLE’s forever bracelets in an array of styles and Ginger & Honey’s herb-scented body products for a variety of skin types.
Admission is $10, which includes all the waffles you can eat. And you get a 15% discount on any purchases made in the store during the event.
