Chagrin Falls’ Blossom Time Festival over Memorial Day weekend is one of the biggest and most festive event kicking of the summer, running for four days from Thursday through Sunday, with food, rides, music, a parade, hot air balloons, a foot race and more.
It’s sponsored by the Chagrin Valley Jaycees who also join with Give! Chagrin Valley Women’s League and Valley Art Center to host the Fourth Annual Blossom Time Commemorative Poster Contest.
Artists can submit one full-color design sized to be reproduced on an 11 x 14 vertical poster. A jury will select the winners, with a $250 prize to the top winner whose design will be used on posters and other festival merch, with $100 to the second place choice and $50 for third place. The art should be camera-ready and contain no lettering.
