Solstice Roasters

For many years, you could stop on your way to a baseball game and grab a bag of nuts from Peterson Nuts right across Ontario from the stadium. The Solon-based company closed the space in 2020 when the pandemic diminished downtown traffic.

In early 2023, it was reactivated as an outlet for Solstice Roasters whose small café offers to the public the roasts they’ve been selling to restaurants, coffee shops and other outlets (including the Cleveland Museum of Art) for nearly three decades. In addition to their coffees, they offer Storehouse teas, pastries and yes, you can still grab some Peterson Nuts on the way to the game. Open limited hours in the winter. Look for longer hours and outdoor seating as the weather improves and the Guardians start to play ball.
