December 24 tends to be one of the slowest days of the year. Even those ongoing holiday attractions tend to close early, or close down entirely until after Christmas. Most clubs are dark.
But if you need a little distraction and relaxation, one place will be hopping: Lakewood’s Winchester Music Tavern. There Heather & Lace will be hosting Holiday Hullabaloo, a burlesque brunch. They’re promising a variety of holiday-themed acts, including one in which the audience chooses the music and prop the performer will use, and a raffle.
Yes, there’s food and drink. And it’s inexpensive: admission is $5, VIP is $10 (probably gets you a closer seat), brunch is $10 and a bottle of champagne with juice is $15. So it won’t strain your probably already stretched holiday budget.
Doors are at noon; show starts at 12:30pm. So you can even get home in time if your family celebrates on Christmas Eve.
