Will Experimental Musicians Massacre Carols at the BOP STOP? Come Find Out!

Tue 12/20 @ 8-11PM

One Tuesday evening a month, the BOP STOP invites any musicians who are into experimental and improvised music to come down and take part in its Outlab: Experiments in Improvised Music.

Musicians of all levels of experience and skill — and an adventurous spirit— are invited to come down and bring musical instruments or any sound-making device (drums and keyboard are provided but bring your own amp if you need one) to join in a collective group improvisation. Listeners are welcome too!

They don’t have “rules” — it’s freeform, after all — but they do have suggested “guidelines”: “1) to direct our explorations along the most productive and positive lines, and 2) to engage the widest possible variety of individuals from Greater Cleveland’s rich and diverse music scenes.”

It’s free but donations are always welcome.

You can also come down a little early (7pm) to catch NYC-based pianist Erika Dohi and her sidekick, D.C.-based sax player Brad Linde, paying a show to support her latest album I, Castorpollux. Admission is $15.
