It’s a big weekend for polka at the Music Box Supper Club, as the Chardon Polka Band brings their youthful energy combined with a reverence for the classic Cleveland-style (Slovenian) polka sound back for two days.
On Friday evening, December 9, they’ll be playing a show called The Polka Night Before Christmas. The next day they’ll be doing TWO polka brunches with Santa and Krampus, at 11am and 3pm (doors a hour earlier) Now, wouldn’t it be worth it to see Santa and Krampus dancing the polka together? You never know! In any case you can expect the band to be applying that happy polka sound to a lot of familiar carols. Wonder if the band will sleep in the club overnight?
