It’s been a busy year. After almost two years of pandemic lockdowns and social distancing, people were itching to go out and do things. The event and festival calendar bounced back to almost normal, with summer especially packed with events; many still missing from the 2021 out of an abundance of caution reappeared on the 2022 schedule.
Kicking off in early January with Vanity Crash at the BOP STOP, 2022 brought us the return of Brite Winter and Kurentovanje in February, the St. Patrick’s Day parade in March, and Station Hope in May. The summer was packed with events ranging from concerts to rallies protesting the overturning of Roe v. Wade to visiting to Put-in-Bay and Presque Isle, to Pride and Juneteenth and the Fest and One World Day and the Ohio Burlesque Fest — and much more. In the fall we went to Skunk Fest and Fresh Fest and the Tremont Arts and Cultural Fest, to Expo: Ingenuity and Dia de Muertos, and to the opening of the Cleveland Photo Fest which closes this week. We wrapped things up at a bunch of holiday markets. Check out the fun we had!
