Bring the Family Downtown to See the Festival of Trees at Playhouse Square

Through Thursday 12/22

The Festival of Trees has long been a Cleveland Play House tradition. At its former theater on Euclid Avenue, they filed along a windowed corridor, brightening the space.

When the Cleveland Play House moved to Playhouse Square’s Allen Theatre, they brought the tree with them, installing them in the Allen’s rotunda. Once again, they’re on display, still decorated by various artists and designers from around the area. There’s also a memorial tree, displaying photos and messages contributed by people about their loved ones who have passed away.

And the display is free and open to the public every day but Monday through December 22, yet another reason to bring the kids downtown to look at decorations and start a new family tradition. Hours are 5:30-9pm.
