Walkabout Tremont Offers Art Shows, Vendors & Plenty to Eat and Drink

Fri 10/14 @ 5-10PM

It’s probably the last month to get the full Walkabout Tremont experience, the second Friday of each month. When it’s warm enough, the neighborhoods main drag, Professor Avenue, is lined with visiting vendors and filled with performers and attractions, including musicians, belly dancers and even giant bubble blowers and visitors from an alpaca farm you can pet.

Every month all year long, the neighborhood’s multitude of bars and eateries offer food and drink specials, galleries such as Kaiser Gallery, 818 Studios and Doubting Thomas (both on Jefferson, just a block apart) have openings. This month 818 Studios is opening a new show called 4 Your Love, featuring work by Dave Cintron, John Kalman, Eric Kunde, Anthony Van Rooy, John Saile, Dott Von Schneider, Rebecca Yody, Doug Hamann, Douglas Max Utter, Sean Mabin, Marti Higgins, and many more. It’s on view through November 11. Meanwhile, Kaiser Gallery continues to show the work of figurative Cleveland artist Leigh Brooklyn in All of Me. That show runs through November 6.

Most of the action is along Professor Avenue, but you’ll find things going on elsewhere as well. Go here to find out what’s happening.
