Expand Your Knowledge of Native Ohio Animals at CMNH’s “Owls & Howls”

Fri 10/28 @ 5-8PM-Sun 10/30

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Halloween Owls & Howls event is so popular, it’s celebrating all weekend starting Friday evening and going on all day Saturday and Sunday.

Wear a costume — all ages are welcome and welcome to do so — and enjoy a range of non-scary and educational (but fun) activities, many of them involving animals native to Ohio, such as the special wildlife demonstrations at the Perkins Wildlife Center & Woods Garden where they live and entertain visitors. We hope the showboating river otters don’t steal the spotlight!

Visitors can also decorate pumpkins, make dinosaur masks and take photos of themselves in full regalia at the photo booth. On Friday evening, there’ll be special programming with science presentations talks, conversations with curators and special guests, and  up-close looks at the Wildlife Center’s animals, as well as access to the Ralph Mueller Observatory, weather permitting.

It’s all included with regular museum admission.
