Sat 10/29 @ 9AM-noon
This week is the last week of the Countryside Farmers Markets in Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Howe Meadow (The winter markets start next month at the nearby Old Trail School).
To send off the summer season — and peak harvest — the market is host Howeloween, with a bunch of special holiday activities. Vendors will have candy for the kids — make sure the whole family comes in costume because there’s a costume contest. Local author Mary E. Ciesa will be hosting story time and crafts for kids at 10am, which musician Jim Lesher will provide music. And — warning! danger! — the Humane Society of Summit County will have its mobile adoption unit onsite just outside the market entrance. Maybe you weren’t planning to take a puppy or kitten home, but plans can change.
The event is free; no tickets are required but donations are always welcome/
