The Cleveland Comedy festival returns for its 15th year with four days of performances by more than 30 local and national comedians at the Odeon Concert Club in the Flats.
“Many of them were born, raised, or have gotten their start in Cleveland, and are returning to celebrate our past, present and future,” says festival director Kyle Haunhurst said. So attendees should be see a lot of familiar faces and can check out how they’ve developed as performers.
Starting off on Wednesday November 2, Clevelander Rob Ward (pictured) comes home to headline. Festival alumni Vik Pandya is featured on Thursday with fellow festival alum Martin Phillips on Friday on a bill that includes headliner Blair Socci. Saturday’s headliner is Ian Fidance.
In addition to headline shows, Happy Hour and Spotlight showcases offer a glimpse at rising talent and potential future comedy stars. And the festival’s popular all-woman showcase “Women & Wine” will have two off-site performances, at Brothers Lounge near Lakewood on Wednesday and at Ohio City’s Market Avenue Wine Bar on Saturday.
