Sat 11/5 @ 6PM

If you’ve missed those bold brash and fearless roller-skating dames of the Burning River Roller Derby league, rejoice. They’re back on the flat track after three years, pushing and shoving each other out of the way as they bulldoze ahead on their four-wheel skates. Come see which of your favorites with the crazy “stage” names are back and check out the newcomers!

They’re kicking off their return with an intra-league bout called Black and Blue to raise money to benefit Colors + Youth Center, which supports GBTQ+ youth. The members will split off into Team Black and Team Blue in two 30-minute halves. And in between halves, its newbies will take part on a game of full-contact musical chairs that should be as action-packed as the bouts.

It takes place at the North Olmsted Soccer Sportsplex. Genera admission is $20; seniors are $13; and kids 6-12 are $9. To learn more go to burningriverderby.com.
