Refugee Response’s REAP Benefit Takes Place at Ohio City Farm

Sat 10/1 @ 7PM

The Cleveland nonprofit Refugee Response was founded in 2009 to work with refugees from around the world to get them settled in Cleveland and provide them resources and skills to rebuild their lives.

One of their most conspicuous programs is Ohio City Farm where they train people who were farmers in their old country to adapt to a new climate. And it’s at the spacious farm where their biggest annual benefit, REAP takes place.

There partygoers will dine under tents on food made by area chefs and restaurants such as Zhug, Larder, Congolese Catering, Juneberry Table, Ohio Kabob, Mason’s Creamery, Felice and more, much of it made with locally grown produce, and enjoy all-evening entertainment by the Luckey Ones, Karen Dance Group, ReFresh Collection, Da Land Brass Band and Julie Anna Gulenko VIP. There’ll be raffles and silent auctions, vendors selling artisan goods made by refugees and the opportunity to tour the farm and see what’s grown there.
