Kent Art in the Park Offers 100 Artists, Two Music Stages and More

Sat 9/10 & Sun 9/11 @ 10AM-6PM

The Kent Art in the Park Festival is a weekend-after-Labor Day tradition, held in the city’s Fred Fuller Park along the banks of the Cuyahoga River.

The juried show features nearly 100 local and regional artists working in a variety of media such a painting, photography, drawing, ceramics, textiles, Jewelry sculpture and more. Among them are youth artists in a designated area called Young at Art, showcasing the work of artists in grades 3-12.

In addition, this family-friendly festival offers hands-on artmaking, demonstrations, a silent auction to benefit arts programs in Kent, and two stages of local musicians playing jazz, country, show tunes, zydeco, steel drums, folk, classical, sea shanties and kids’ music. And of course there’ll be food available for purchase.
