Roe Your Vote Rally in Euclid Reminds Us What’s at Stake in November

Sun 9/11 @ 1-2:30PM

The Roe Your Vote Rally, scheduled for Triangle Park in Euclid last month, got rained out. But enthusiasm for protesting the elimination of women’s human rights has not dimmed, nor has the anger at the extremist and out-of-touch legislation pushed by the Ohio legislature, with some legislators promoting even more extreme legislation such as banning contraception or declaring an embryo to have all the rights of an actual human being, while the woman it’s inside has none.

So the rally is on for Sunday September 11, and it’s important you all attend if you care at all about freedom and the right of every person to control their own body and their own life. Speakers include Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor Cheryl Stephens, Democratic candidate for Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne,  state representative Kent Smith, county council member Sunny Simon, Euclid City Council president Charlene Mancuso, Euclid school board member Pam Turos and Taneika Hill, an activist with Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights.

The event will include the chance to register to vote, change your voting address and pick up an absentee ballot application, and voting information will be available as well. Pick some up for all your friends and make sure they turn out to vote in November. Make a cool sign and join the crowd!
