Look for August Wildlife with CMNH at the Mentor Marsh

Sun 8/7 @ 2PM

August is sometimes called the Dog Days of Summer. Now the heat is getting wearing and the early summer burst of energy is waning.

But there’s still a lot going on out in the wild and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History will show you where to look on their “Dog Days of Summer” hike. Join them at the Mentor Marsh to look and listen for signs of life such as cicadas and crickets and see what plants are growing and blowing and which are transitioning to fall.

Bring binoculars or a hand lens or anything else you think might help you explore (a camera?) for this free, family-friendly hike. A final outing before the kids going back to school?
