Loganberry Books’ Author Alley has been a staple of its summer schedule for years. Recently instead of a big, one-day event, it’s broken it up into several more manageable days, each specializing in a certain type of literature.
On this, the second of three Saturday, the emphasis in on fiction and poetry including such genres as romance, sci-fi, young adult fiction and kids’ books. All ages will find something to interest them.
Among the authors are nationally noted thriller writer Dan Chaon, a Cleveland Heights resident and retired Oberlin professor who’s just published a new novel called Sleepwalk. You can also meet mystery/romance writer Abby Collete/Vandiver; Fantasy writer Victoria Perkins; Jason Lady, author of the middle-school series Problems; and nearly two dozen more. In addition to book signings, there’ll be poetry readings on the LitArts stage throughout the afternoon.
