La Placita Cleveland Hosts a Weekend of Open-Air Hispanic Music & Vendors

Sat 8/20-Sun 8/21

La Placita Cleveland at West 25th and Clark is hosting a full weekend of live and DJ music and dancing with a Hispanic flavor outdoors, with music from 1-10pm Saturday and noon-8pm Sunday.

Saturday kicks off with DJ Raymond spinning from 1-3:30pm, before the Mariachi Show takes over from 4-5pm. Abre Paso Flamenco performs from 5:30-6pm, followed by the Suavacito Project from 6:30-8pm and finally, Sammy DeLeon y Su Orquestra @ 8:30-10pm with his lively Latin jazz that never fails to get crowds moving.

DJ DannyVey gets the party started Sunday from noon-1pm. Los Tres Sonidos take over at 1-2:30pm, before DannyVey returns from 2:30-3:30. Broco El Unico performs from 3:30-4:10, Rapa Vieja from 4:30-6pm, and the weekend wraps up with vocalist Dulce Swing from 6:30-8pm.

There’ll also be food — of course — and we presume Latino vendors, since La Placita Cleveland serves as a market for the Hispanic community.
