Each year, Hale Farm & Village in Bath, which recreates the environment of a 19th0century Ohio farming village, hosts its Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival to showcase people who are keeping old-style crafts alive today and working in new styles.

The juried festival features more than 170 artisans from all over Ohio, creating jewelry, pottery, glass and wood items, soaps & other body products, fine art and more. In addition to art and craft vendors, there’ll be food vendors and beer and wine available. There’ll also be artisan demonstrations — something that goes on regularly at Hale Farm & Village, with demos of 19th-century skills such as candle-making, blacksmithing and weaving — and music, including a performance by the Akron Symphonic Winds on Sunday, as well as magic shows by Magic Nate on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for kids ages 3-12. Go to MadeinOhioFestival for more information and tickets.
