This week, CoolCleveland points you to a bunch of cool events where you can chill out, enjoy the vibe, meet new people and engage voters on the key issues we face in the upcoming November election. Help folks get registered, educate ourselves on the issues, and make new friends.
Thursday, September 1: Tabling 4 Freshmen @ Cle State– Come on by and hang out with us at the Cle state, Freshman activities fair! Help us register as many voters as we can and find some more volunteers to join the fun and help us win!
Friday, September 2: Canton First Friday Voter Registration– Join your friends to help register voters at Canton’s First Friday!
Friday, September 2: DM Bank and Chill @ Cle State– Relax after the first week of classes with a movie and DM bank! Help us use social media to find more student volunteers while enjoying some snacks and watching a group chosen fav!
Saturday, September 3: Stark County HQ Canvas– Join your friends as we canvas for the best candidates candidates up and down the ballot!
Saturday, September 3: Cool Beans Canvass– JOIN US September 3rd 10am-1pm ; 1pm – 4pm at Cool Beans Cafe in Medina to reach out to our local community and inform them of the important upcoming election! Bring friends, bring comfy attire, and your voice!
Saturday, September 3 & Sunday, September 4: Door-to-Door Canvass Chagrin Falls- Wear your walking shoes & join us knocking on doors and talking with Chagrin Falls community members about the right candidates on the ballot.
Note: Please bring a charged phone and download the MiniVAN app beforehand. We will conduct training on site so that everyone feels confident at the doors.
Saturday, September 3 & Sunday, September 4: Door-to-Door Canvass in Brecksville– Wear your walking shoes & join us knocking on doors and talking with Brecksville community members about the best candidates on the ballot. Please download the “MiniVAN Touch” app to your smartphone before arriving. There will be a short training on how to use this canvassing app before the canvass begins.
Saturday, September 3 & Sunday, September 4: Door-to-Door Canvass in Cleveland Heights-Wear comfortable shoes and join us knocking on doors & talking with members of the Cleveland Heights community about the right candidates on the ballot (as well as the Workers First Campaign). IMPORTANT Please download and sign into the MiniVAN app before arriving at the event – we will be conducting a training on site at the start of the event to make sure everyone feels comfortable before knocking on doors. MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS FULLY CHARGED.

Sunday, September 4: Maple Heights Weekend Canvass– Come out and join the Workers First Campaign and knock doors in Maple Heights! We’ll be out on Saturdays up until the election to canvass and make sure people know about the the right candidates up and down the ballot who they’ll be voting for.
