Fri 8/19 @ 5-9PM
It’s that time of month again when the dozens of artists, galleries & businesses at 78th Street Studios throw open their doors for the biggest art walk in Cleveland: Third Friday.
There are all sorts of ongoing shows to check out such as HUDGE Gallery’s current show of the roster of top area artist they represent. E11even2 Gallery has a mission to offer affordable art, often with a pop-culture twist, but this month they’re really foregrounding that with their one-night-only “Christmas in July But in August” sale where all work will be priced at $200 or less. And be sure to stop by Gallery 215 to see Rescued: Images from Storage, photos taken at Pride parades in Cleveland, Columbus, Rochester, Washington D.C. and New York between 1986 and 1993 by Andrew Cari, depicting an era when LGBT were struggling for respect and recognition in the midst of the AIDS epidemic.
If you’re looking to shop for gifts, Northcoast Productions will again be hosting a variety of artisans in both the SmART Space on the ground floor and the open space on the RAMP level. Food and drink are available for purchase in the building.
Third Friday is free and there’s no longer any need to register. Well-behaved kids and pets are welcome!
