Relieve Your Stress at CMA with “Artists in the Atrium: Art and Healing”

Sat 7/16 @ noon-4pm

Are you one of the stressed-out people who’ve helped make Cleveland America’s #1 most stressed-out city? The Cleveland Museum of Art has some help for that!

Photographer/Artist Amber N. Ford and mindfulness teacher LaToya Kent will be in the Atrium for “Artists in the Atrium: Art and Healing,” a free program, open to all, that offers a variety of activities to explore “the therapeutic and restorative possibilities of art and meditation.”

You can share your own thoughts about art & healing as you delve into objects from the CMA collection that were created to be used for prayer, healing and reflection; and learn how to get started in effective meditation. Drop in any time during the afternoon.
