The Absolutely Beautiful Country Ride ka ABC Ride, sponsored by the Akron Bicycle Club, is a scenic ride through Summit, Wayne and Medina counties, which gives riders the opportunity to enjoy the lovely scenery of rural and small-town Northeast Ohio while teaching riders how to ride safely.
The ABC Ride, which has been going on for 50 years, starts this year at Copley High School and features a choice of routes of varying levels of difficulty for families, biking novices and experienced riders. There are 25-, 50-, 62- and 10-mile routes with rest stops, lunch for the 50-, 62- and 100-mile routes and support available along all routes. And all riders are welcome to come back to Copley High School ater their ride for a catered lunch.
