Hamburgers are one of those great American staples everybody grew up with, whether they ate them at a drive-in, a Woolworth’s counter, a fast-food emporium or a gourmet version at an upscale pub. Even vegetarians eat black bean hamburgers: same patty, same bun, same lettuce/tomato/onion/cheese, same condiments, just no meat.
Cleveland Burger Week celebrates the great American burger at more than 50 restaurants across town, each offering their own distinctive version on this classic; some will even offer beer pairings. Most of the places are casual; some are breweries and pubs so you can plan to stay and have a few drinks. Go out and try some new places during the week and if you get at least five stamps, you’re eligible for a drawing for a grill and Ultimate Grill Out.
