Author Laura Peskin is the creator of a series called Deep Cover Cleveland: 100 Little known things about Northeast Ohio. Volume I featured obscure contributions in the arts, history and parks, among other areas. Volume II focused on under-recognized events and projects in the 20^th and 21^st centuries, such as the Youngstown Kitchens and Cleveland countercultural comics.

Now she’s published Volume III or Deep Cover Cleveland: Topics in Depth in conjunction with author Randy Rosko. It features even more interviews and photos than the previous books, looking at an array of true stories, a few dating back to the pre-Civil War era, but with more emphasis on stress on current subjects.

Peskin and Roski will be at Learned Owl Book Shop in Hudson for an author talk/book-signing event. It’s free and open to the public.
