Wade Oval Summer Art Fest Carries On Until Parade the Circle Returns Next Year

Sat 6/11 @ 11AM-5PM

Yes, Parade the Circle will be back in 2023, the Cleveland Museum of Art assures us. It’s getting partway there this year by replacing last year’s scaled-down neighborhood events with Summer Art Fest: Dance With Giants at Wade Oval.

While there won’t be the usual parade of floats, bands, stilt walkers, puppets and more wending its way around the Oval this year, there will be some oversized art installations by local artists as well as a whole bunch of hands-on art activities for all ages: “push a 10-foot-tall rhinoceros onto a printing press to produce a commemorative poster; add a suction cup to our oversized orange octopus; dance with our magical mushroom performers; or take a photo with our giant inflatable pink robot puppy.”

There’ll also be a live music stage, games and projects in activity tents, and food and drink available for purchase. There’s no admission charge.
