Sun 6/12 @ 10AM-3PM
The big Pride in the CLE parade and festival downtown may be history. But there’s a whole lot of Pride Month to go and you know LGBTQ+ folks and their allies are going to be celebrating that whole time.
For instance, this weekend there’s the Pride Ride, hosted by Harness Cycle and Gordon Green, to raise money for the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland. It starts at 10am with a Pride Ride with Harness Cycle’s LGBT instructors.
Then at 11am, doors open to the public for the Prideful Marketplace at Gordon green (5400 Detroit Ave,) featuring LGBTQ+ and allies vendors and small businesses. There’ll be brunch options available from vendors as well as a cash bar, and drag performances at 11:30am, 1pm & 2:30pm with Peach Fuzz and Pineapple Honeydew-Delight. Local businesses will be offering raffles, with winners announced at 2:15, and you can also donate to dunk your friends in the Big Splash so there’ll be a lot of ways to support the LGBT Center.
Psst: there’ll also be a kids’ corner with crafts and inclusive books from the Cuyahoga County Public Library but you better not tell the Republicans in the Ohio state legislature.
It’s $45 for the full event including the ride; $15 general admission to the Prideful Marketplace. Kids 12 and under are free.
