Ready to have some fun and support women candidates running statewide in the upcoming November election?
In one of the most important races, Ohio Supreme Court Justice Jennifer Brunner is running for re-election and to become the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court. And for the first time since before WWI, party affiliations will be visible on the ballots for judges. Brunner has been outspoken and steadfast on the rejection of unconstitutionally gerrymandered congressional maps that Ohio Republicans have attempted to institute this year.
For Governor of the state of Ohio, former Dayton mayor Nan Whaley is the Democratic candidate with her running mate Cheryl Stephens, former Cuyahoga County Councilmember, CEO of the East Akron Neighborhood Development Corporation, and the former Mayor of Cleveland Heights. Pictured above is Nan Whaley, confronting the former president days after the deadly shooting in 2019 in Downtown Dayton that left nine dead and dozens injured.
