After closing her long-running Flying Fig restaurant from the West Side Market in early 2022, Chef Karen Small moved up the street to Lorain Road taking over the former Jack Flaps place. And like that eatery, her new one, dubbed Juneberry, is also oriented toward breakfast items made from fresh, bright ingredients served in a clean, sunny space and served for both breakfast and lunch.
They include such choices as seasonal fruit bowls, biscuits, a vegetable muffuletta, a pickle brined fried chicken sandwich, whole wheat buttermilk waffles, cinnamon streusel coffee cake, and a BLT salad bowl. Juneberry is open 8am-2pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
