Beck Center Hosts Dance Performance & Art Conversation as Part of Diversity Week

Sun 6/12 @ 2:30PM

Mon 6/13 @ 7PM

The Beck Center has a couple of events this week that are part of their first annual Diversity celebration.

On Sunday July 12 it will present a performance by Madjax Dance Compsny, formed in 2020 by Madi Jackson to incorporate dancers of different ages and skill levels. “Furthering the community is as much a priority to MadJax Dance Company as getting on stage; making its mission to foster growth in others through training, performance, and interconnection,” they say. Get tickets here.

Then on Monday June 13, artists/authors/educators Donte Woods-Spikes and Richard Duarte Brown will hosting a conversation called “When Art Comes to Life.”  They’ll talk about how their artistic relationship came about, their creative differences, and how to connect with people through painting and art. Get more information here.
