The annual plant sale returns to Rockefeller Park Greenhouse this week offering a variety of vegetables, herbs, annuals, perennials, tropical plants, houseplants, dahlias and irises, and upcycled art and crafts by local artists.
While you’re there be sure to visit the incredible Willott Iris Garden where you can see hundreds of varieties in bloom, many of them available potted up for sale. It’s also a great opportunity to visit this little-known treasure just south of the freeway off MLK Boulevard, tour its outdoor gardens, including its Latin American Garden, its Japanese Garden and its Betty Ott Talking Garden for the Blind, and its indoor collections of cacti, ferns, orchids and tropical plants.
