Cleveland’s small baroque chamber ensemble Les Delices was the Little Engine That Could throughout the pandemic, expanding its audience outside the area with shows on video and its Monday evening SalonEra virtual programs in which musicians shared music and stories on different themes. It returned to live performance this spring with The White Cat, which featured a storyline, puppets, masks, scenery, costumes, and projections.
Like most arts groups, it hasn’t been able to host a full in-person benefit until now, but it’s doing so with its Spring Soiree at the BOP STOP. In-person attendees will get food, drinks and the chance to mingle, as well as a concert at 7pm. If the cost of tickets is a bit much for you or you’re not able to make it, they’re offering a livestream option for the concert for a fraction of the cost — and you can still show your support.
There are also auction and raffle items to bid on whether you can attend or not. The raffle drawing takes place at 8pm following the concert. Go here for more information and tickets.
