Cleveland International Classical Guitar Festival kicks off on Monday and runs through Sunday June 12. But before that starts, the Cleveland International Classical Guitar Festival hosts its 22nd annual event. In four days, there’ll be six concerts, six master classes, a couple of exhibits and private lessons for students from internationally celebrated musicians. All events take place at CIM; concert tickets range from $10-$25, while the master classes are free and open to the public to observe.
It will also feature the James Stroud Classical Guitar Competition for U.S.-based guitarists ages 14-18. The semi-final rounds takes place on Friday June 3 @ 10am-noon and 1-3pm, at CIM’s Moxon Hall. The final round, with four finalists performing, is on Sunday June 5 @ 6:30-8:30pm at CIM’s Kulas Hall, with professional musicians doing the judging. Both are free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
