Once again, Literary Cleveland is amplifying the voices of Cleveland writers with its new online anthology titled Reflections of The Land: Meditations on Environment & Industry. It features the work of 15 local writers: poems, stories, and essays by 15 local writers, all revolving around their relationships to both the natural and built environment and the long-term conflict in the region between nature and industry. It’s part of Lit Cleveland’s Amplify Voices series, which encourages writers to share stories about their own communities.
In their work, says Lit Cleveland the writers ask, “How can we reflect on the environment — both natural and built — and move towards fully understanding our relationship to the land? How does the environment shape who we were, are, and can be?
The online launch party will feature readings from the anthology. It’s free and open to all. Register here.
