Farmer Jones is best known for his association with The Chef’s Garden in Huron, started by his family more than three decades ago. It supplies high-quality specialty vegetables, herbs and microgreens to chefs across the country, using regenerative farming practices. Farmer Jones himself has been a tireless evangelist for health growing and eating practices.
More recently, he’s also made them available to the general public, first with vegetable boxes during the pandemic and then last year with weekly markets at the farm’s permanent market location. Starting this week you can stop by event Saturday from 9am-3pm for fresh, in-season veggies, both familiar and unusual, as well as other locally made/grown products. You can also pre-order and pick up your box at the farm stand. The market is located at 1517 Scheid Road in Huron.
