Sat 4/30 @ 1-3PM
This Saturday is “Dia del Niño” aka “Children’s Day” at the new Pivot Center for Art, Dance and Expression on West 25thStreet, a space which hosts numerous cultural and social services organizations. Comite Mexicano de Cleveland, the Cleveland Play House and more than 30 other community organizations have joined together to offer a bilingual, cross-cultural event for kids so they hopefully don’t grow up to demonize anyone who isn’t like themselves or speaks the same language.
The event will offer games, face painting, temporary tattoos, a photo booth, a hula hoop contest, theater games, crafts and art activities, raffles treats and tours of the LatinUs theater, whose space is in the Pivot Center. There’ll also be resources for parents and other caregivers. And it’s free and open to all.
