Ukrainian-Born Cleveland Author Donates Percent of Book Sales to Help Ukraine

Writer/career coach Alexsandra Sukhoy writes “The bombing first began in my birth city, Kyiv. It has since spread to the entire country. We still have family there, my Mom has childhood friends there and one of my students, who is from Ukraine, has family that’s both escaped and is also in hiding.”

“Hearing news that the Babi Yar memorial was also bombed hit hard. I went there on my visit in 2005 and just 6 months later while in Israel at Yad Vashem prayed over all my 40+ family members that perished there under the hands of the Nazis.”

“As you can both imagine, just day-to-day life has been surreal. Like, how can any of this be happening, today, in 2022?”

Feeling compelled to do something, Sukhoy’s publishing company, Creative Cadence LLC, will donate 18% of all March 2022 net proceeds of The Girl From Cleveland City, and any other books currently available on her Amazon author page, directly to the International Medical Corps which is sending teams to Ukraine.
