Skidmark Garage is a do-it-yourself, community garage for motorcylists that offers work and storage space, tools and advice for cyclists to work on their own bikes. It was founded eight years ago and became one of the many creative/entrepreneurial businesses in the Hamilton Collaborative on the fringe of AsiaTown. But the idea took hold and grew rapidly, and Skidmark has recently moved into its own space just around the corner at 4806 Hamilton Avenue.
That’s where it will be hosting its fourth annual benefit “Bringin’ Back Shop Class,” to support its nonprofit education program Motogo, which teaches kids about working on motorcycles. Guests will enjoy food, an open bar, live entertainment and interactive demonstrations and the chance to win raffle packages.
