Playwrights Local is back on the boards again at he Creative Space at Waterloo Arts, with another new play in keeping with its mission to produce new work, mostly (but not entirely) by northeast Ohio playwrights and aspiring playwrights.
Millwood Outpost was written by Clevelander Tom Hayes. The synopsis tells us that it’s one of those scripts in which multiple individuals are thrown together in one space, revealing truths about themselves as the play unfolds.
“Confined on a stormy day, six highway workers are forced to share one room in an abandoned Department of Transportation outpost. Over the course of several hours, the men must confront their own fears, prejudices, and beliefs, and those of each other, while elemental forces outside threaten them all.”
Rachel Zake directs the seven-actor play which will perform Fridays and Saturdays @ 7:30pm and Sundays @ 2:30pm through April 2. Get tickets here.
