Get Ready for Spring at the Medina Home & Garden Show

Sat 3/26 @ 10AM-6PM

Sun 3/27 @ 10AM-5PM

If you missed the Great Big Home & Garden Show at the I-X Center in February, or if it was just too overwhelming for you, consider going to the smaller and more manageable 35th annual Medina County Home & Garden Show where adults can get home, garden and yard improvement info from more than 100 experts and vendors while kids can be entertained in the Gnome Garden, Playground World, and the kids’ clubhouse in the Main Garden which will be raffled off to raise money to build homes for low-income Medina County residents through Habitat for Humanity.

Visitors will find information on windows and doors, gutters, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, decks, patios and pools, outdoor lighting and landscaping, and less glamorous aspects of home ownership such as gutters, chimney cleaning and septic tanks.  It’s a good place to look for someone to hire and compare services. There’ll also be presentations on Pollinator Gardens, the invasive Spotted Lanternfly, choosing the right plants for your soil, and making kid-friendly desserts (aren’t desserts by definition “kid-friendly?)

It takes place at the Medina County Community Center at the Medina Fairgrounds. Adult admission is $5; kids 12 and under are free. For more info, go to medinahomeandgardenshow.com.
