The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is exactly what it says: not so much a trip to a destination as about the ride itself, primary through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It also hosts dinners and special events, Christmas trips and on-board concerts. While the regular scenic tours on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad are cancelled through early May due to track conditions being worked on, the special events rides are still happening. Instead of traveling the whole distance from Rockside to Akron, they make a half trip and return.
That includes a trip called “Laughing Off the Rails,” featuring a group of stand-up comedians, featuring emcees Ryan Weiss, Becky Miller and Rob Coleman, and comics Bill Benden, Jeff Blanchard and Rob Telecky, who’ll take turns rotating between the cars. Food and drink will be available on board.
