Cleveland Ballet Donates Proceeds to Ukraine

Cleveland Ballet’s President and CEO Michael Krasnyansky has announced that all the net profits from the matinee performance of matinee performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Sat 5/7 at 1PM will be donated to the children of Ukraine.

“The Cleveland Ballet reiterates its solidarity with the Ukrainian people in the face of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine,” said Krasnyansky, a Ukranian businessperson who settled in the Cleveland area with his wife Gladisa Guadalupe.

“In pledging these earnings to the children of Ukraine, we hope to give not only a form of security but hopeful optimism to the future generation affected by this insensible act of brutality,” said Gladisa Guadalupe in the same statement statement.
