WJCU Radio Hosts Attempt to Break Guinness Record for Longest Interview

Sat 2/5 @ 7AM-Sun 2/6 @8:30AM

If anyone can break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Continuous Radio Interview — 25 hours and 26 minutes — I wouldn’t bet against a couple of college sophomores.

And two of them are going to give it a shot this weekend. Zachary Sinutko and Collin Kennedy are co-producers of hip hop/rap show “808s & Mixtapes” on the John Carroll University radio station WJCU 88.7FM. They’ll be going for 25 ½ hours, and you can listen on WJCU2 via the WJCU app or hear or hear it livestreamed atwww.808mixtape.wixsite.com/home.

“I have no doubt in my mind that we can achieve the unachievable,” says Sinutko. “Two college students + a ton of energy drinks and a passion for college radio = countless possibilities. This will be easy if you ask me, and you’ll just have to hear it for yourself on February 5th 2022 on WJCU 88.7 FM.”

Adds Kennedy, “Me and Zachary Sinutko are unstoppable when we put our minds to something, and this Guinness World Record will be no different if you ask me.”
