Thu 2/10 @ 5-9PM
As usual, the Rock Hall expands its programming for Black History Month, highlighting still more stories about the musical and cultural contributions of African-American artists, in addition to ongoing exhibits such as It’s Been Said All Along: Voices of Rage, Hope & Empowerment, which focuses on how musicians have responded to the challenges of racism.
On Thursday February 10, this month’s Rock Hall Nights will shine a spotlight on Detroit’s Motown Records, most of whose legendary artists have already been inducted. Curators will share a collection of Stevie Wonder’s glasses, and you can play Motown trivia, dance to Motown tunes, watch exclusive Motown archival clips in the Foster Theater and play your favorite Motown tunes in the garage. And you can tour all the museum’s display which contain many more stories about the contributions of Black artists.
It’s all included with museum admission.
