One of the organizations located in the new Pivot Center of Art, Dance and Expression — a hub for arts and social services organizations on the near west side — is Future Ink Graphics. Unlike some of the other groups moving into the building, it’s a brand new organization, dedicated to giving artists who work in printing a space to work, learn and develop their businesses.
It’s hosting a grand opening celebration this week to show off the resources it has in its space, share the work of a dozen local printmakers and designers in its Community Gallery, and provide information about programs such as the Creative Incubator Project. DJ Santana will be providing dance tunes and Latinoamericano is bringing the munchies.
