Sat 11/27-Wed 12/22
The Cleveland Play House’s Festival of Trees has always been a big attraction although its current Allen Theatre lobby space may not be quite as magical as the glass-lined walkway in its old facility on Euclid Avenue. Still, Christmas trees are Christmas trees, and they’re still festively decorated by community artists, designers, businesses and organizations to reflect multiple interpretations of holiday cheer.
It’s free to stop down to enjoy the trees, or you can take them in when you head down for the current CPH production, Light It Up!, a family-friendly holiday musical which runs through Wednesday December 22. You can visit on Tuesdays @ 4:30-7pm, Wednesdays-Fridays @ 5-7:30pm, Saturdays @ noon-7:30pm and Sundays @ noon-2:30pm.
On Christmas week — the final three days, they’ll be open Monday December 20 @ 5-7:30pm, Tuesday December 21 @ 4:30-7pm and Wednesday December 22 @ 11am-1:30pm. It’s free to come down and check out the trees.
