Join self-identified witch, writer and “proud feminist activist” Donna Shinko at Coven (1384 Bonnieview Avenue, Lakewood) for another session on the magic of poetry which anyone can access.
At “Poetry Magick II: Word Witch Writing Workshoppe,” she’ll be sharing some of her own sonnets and spells and offering prompts for attendees to write their own within time limits. Then they’ll all be able to share what they wrote and be inspired by each other’s energy and creativity. She adds, “And if the group agrees, perhaps the first Coven poetry ‘zine can be crafted!”
Cost is $13 and part of every ticket sale will go to Preterm Cleveland Ohio to provide more women with reproductive choices.
