NE Ohio Singer Kate Voegele Comes Home from L.A. for a Concert

Wed 11/24 @ 7:30PM

Many Cleveland fans know singer/songwriter Kate Voegele’s story. She burst onto the local music scene as a Bay Village High School student, winning over local audiences with her surprisingly mature delivery of her impressively crafted original songs. She put out her first album, an EP, when she was just 16.

Now she’ll turn 35 next month, and in those years, she’s built a solid and diverse career. First, she caught the ear of a record label started by MySpace (remember them?) in the mid 00s, and released the first of two albums on that label in 2007, when she was just 20. That year she began appearing on the TV series One Tree Hill in a recurring role until 2011. That provided her with a national audience to support her ongoing music career.

She released her fourth album Canyonlands in 2016. But the now Los Angeles-based performer hasn’t been idle. She’s also a designer who has a blog and a “lifestyle” company called We the Dreamers which provides an outlet for her designs. And she recently released a new single called “This Is Home.”

She’s back on the road, and she’ll be performing at the Music Box Supper Club this week. Shot is at 7:30 but doors open at 5:30 if you want to have dinner. And for a $30 add-on to your ticket ($22 in advance, $28 day of show), you can get a meet-and-greet pass pre-show VIP pass which includes a special acoustic performance, a photo op and early entry to the venue. Get tickets here.
