The Cleveland Museum of Natural History has announced a new program to make its offerings more accessible and open up the world of natural science and human evolution to more people.
Starting this month, families who participate in the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) program will be able to get into the museum for $1 — for four people! All they have to do is show their SNAP EBT card and up to four people get in for free. It’s part of the national Museums for All program, aiming to make cultural museums available to a wider range of people.
“For children, students, and adults, an understanding of science is critically important to safeguarding our natural world and improving the civic life of our communities and country,” says CMNH’s president/CEO Sonia Winner.
